After Flex 4 and Flash Builder having been released last month, we are working hard to get the first Flex 4 trainings organised very soon. It is going to be a 4-day course which will guide you through the basics of Flex 4, so you can get cracking at your own first Flex 4 project. Below you can find the overview of what is covered in this course.
- Introduction
- Fundamentals
- New Spark components and layout
- Event handling
- Validating and formatting data
- Navigating the application
- View states and transitions
- Controlling Visual display with Styling
- Skinning Spark components
- Accessing remote data
- Custom events
- The DataGroup container
- Using the Datagrid
You’ll notice the course being quite similar to the Flex 3 courses, so if you’ve already followed that one or if you’ve already been using Flex 3, we also have a special migration course to help you identify the differences between Flex 3 and Flex 4. Just take a look at our training overview to find out more about that specific course.
More details about the Flex 4 curriculum will follow soon, but I can already tell you that we will be able to accomodate the course for specific profiles. That means that we can make the course more design-oriented for designers and more development oriented for developers, for example. So stay tuned and find out more about this soon…
